In August 2026, over PKR 1.96 billion was deposited directly into the national exchequer on account of vehicle token tax, transfers, and registration challans via the Pak App.

This success represents a significant milestone toward a cashless economy, alongside providing citizens with simple, transparent, and digital public services.

Developed in collaboration with the National IT Board (NITB), the Pak App enables citizens to make vehicle-related payments easily and conveniently from their mobile phones.
